Sunday Scrolls: August 6th

How special to see you today! We have a hydrating summertime salad, well-being protocols I’m re-prioritizing, the nudge we all need to take the next step, and some brain candy for dessert 😍. Come on in:

Meals

Jon ordered this dreamy watermelon salad yesterday at Tru Food Kitchen and I immediately knew I wanted to try and recreate it. This recipe looks like a great jumping off point and then we can tweak and make it our own. I vote for adding some pepitas for a little crunch. What a refreshing, hydrating sweet & savory scoop of summertime!

Movement

I let some of my wellness protocols go a little more lax than I like during this big move and I am feeling oh so ready to get back to many of these daily non-negotiables. Even if we take just one of Dr. Huberman’s science-backed suggestions and put it into practice, imagine how good we’re going to feel in an hour, in a week, in a year? If you feel overwhelmed thinking about a complete overhaul (I’m with you!), I’d suggest starting with sleep. When you get a good night’s rest, it’s the foundation of our well-being, and anything is possible!
