I’ve long been a proponent of equal parts fruit + vegetables in our daily smoothie for a boost in phytonutrients, superfoods, anti-inflammatory goodness, and optimal digestion (among about 93746 other incredible reasons!). And on days where we double the veggies? It feels like a superpower. Your digestion improves, you stay fuller longer, and is it just me or are you actually glowing?!
For today’s organic super-boost smoothie we added:
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 large avocado
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 scoop Truvani clean vegan protein
- 1 T. inulin (metabolism booster, digestion-optimizer)
- 1 t. maca (hormone regulator, immunity booster)
- 2 cups coconut milk
It tastes like ice cream thanks to the velvety goodness of the avocado. And it’s doing double duty because the avocado completely wipes out the taste of the spinach, thank you very much!
