When you’re looking for a warm, nourishing mug of tea that plays to your savory taste buds – reach for this recipe. This one is layered with flavor and packed with incredible healing properties we could all use more of, especially this time of year. You only need four ingredients and it’s easy to whip up in no time:

Nixon Pack’s Turmeric Tea

1) Heat low sodium organic vegetable broth like you would with water for tea.

2) Peel and grate a small finger of organic turmeric (a heaping teaspoon). If you don’t have fresh, you can absolutely used dried ground from the spice aisle.

3) Sprinkle in some garlic, black pepper, and ginger.

It’s so nourishing! Learning to love turmeric has been one of my biggest wellness wins of the year and I have seen such a difference in my skin, heart health, and digestion. PS – Costco has fresh turmeric root on sale now. Go grab a bag before they’re gone! My fingers have turned permanently yellow as a result.

🚨And don’t forget the black pepper! Any time you’re using turmeric, add a few shakes of black peppercorns to allow for better absorption and enhance the benefits to your body. I so wish we could share a cup of tea together. Have a healthy, joyful day!
