I hope your week was the loveliest, luckiest, most luminous yet! I’m so happy to see you here today. Scrolls is bursting at the seams with motivation to move our bodies, a component to add to your meals for up to 40x more nutrients (!) and a deeply impactful slideshow of positivity to take into the week ahead. Plus some links at the end for fun! Come on in π«ΆπΌ:
Meals
I’ve been a passenger on the microgreen train for years and after reading this study, I’m holding my hand out like they do in the movies, ready to swoop you up into the rail car with me. In said study, they found that microgreens can contain up to 40 times more nutrients compared to their mature counterparts. So by eating broccoli microgreens rather than a head of broccoli, you’re getting 40x the nutrients! Here’s a look at how I added them in to just one day of eating this week.
You’re seeing a “super medley” with bok choy, mustard greens, kale and spinach on my breakfast sandwich. The vegetable soup for lunch was topped with arugula microgreens (and a generous squeeze of lemon, 10/10 recommend!). And for dinner, I did a veggie “pizza” with a smattering of broccoli microgreens on top. The super medley is my fave, but they all have a place and are bursting with flavor. I know you will love them π. You can find them in the lettuce section at your grocer, at your local farmer’s market – or you can try your hand at growing them at home!
Movement
Remember last week we thought about challenging ourselves to add an extra 1,000 steps each day? A new study found that for every 2K steps we take, our chances of early death fall by up to 11%. So if you’re taking 2,000 steps, fantastic. 4,000?!, amazing. The benefits are cumulative as long as you keep up the consistency! If you ever need motivation to move your body, it is one of my great joys to encourage you every step of the way. My goal this week is to use weights in some capacity daily – even if it’s ankle weights while I buzz around the house. And here’s an incredible movement I want to employ this week – the goblet squat:
Mindset
The first and last nuggets have really been on my mind this week. Worth screenshotting! (And when you get to the end of Scrolls, I’m leaving you with one more I’m really striving for this week, and a personal note of why I really need it).

I read this new study (fascinating!) on how the gut microbiome may be a key in reversing the impact of aging. Going to habit stack a pre+probiotic into our daily vitamin protocol!
These are the water bottles we use + LOVE. They are glass with a silicone sleeve (so they don’t break easily), and they have a time-stamp goal to strive for throughout the day!
We need to take a bath! Look at this “recipe” from Dr. Connealy – she’s an oncologist and the author of The Cancer Revolution. I cannot wait to incorporate this into self-care for detoxing.

I spent an hour or two this week playing the comparison game. I think you know the one I might be referring to, the one where you’re left feeling less than and down on yourself for absolutely no reason whatsoever, many times without merit. In any event, I heard an interview with Jordan Peterson and one nugget stuck out to me. The takeaway: Today I will be a better me than I was yesterday. And when we go to sleep at night: Was I 1% better than yesterday? Did I show up as my best self? Did I love my people fully? Was I kind to everyone? Then it’s a win. We’re all on a different timeline — and whatever stage you’re at right now, whether you’re feeling behind, or ahead — you’re right where you’re supposed to be. And if you were kind today, (I’ll vouch for that since you’re here!), you’re a rare gem in my book π.
