Sunday Scrolls: June 25th

Thank you for the opportunity to write these for you each week. I have so loved putting together many of the nuggets of goodness that crossed our path (the latest movement trend, a fabulous 1-minute high-protein breakfast, fun family finds!) and we hope you find one or two that inspire, ignite, and encourage you in whatever your goals are for the week ahead. Let’s share a smile and a scroll ๐Ÿ˜:

Meals

Food for thought this week. I have a few friends who say organic is a waste of money, or not affordable, and I understand how fast groceries add up (especially lately ๐Ÿ˜ž). But if you keep the long-game in mind and want to fuel your body with as few chemicals as possible to age healthfully, organic is the best option *when possible*. And I absolutely agree it isn’t always possible. These 10 ingredients include known carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, and breed a host of diseases. ((Why/ how are they even allowed in our food system to begin with!?))

Here’s a good list for which items are most important to buy clean/ organic so you can splurge on these, and save on the rest.

Movement

We saw a ton of pole walkers in Arizona, and I’m going to be honest, I thought the poles were for stability ๐Ÿ˜†. That may be true, but as it turns out – the poles help to heighten full-body muscle engagement and make for a better, stronger, more impactful workout. It’s called “Nordic Walking” and it’s the latest trend in the fitness realm. Is this something you would try?

Mindset

These truth bombs jumped out at me and the lessons kept popping up throughout the week. Which ones stand out for you? For me it was the 1st, 3rd and last!
