And if you’re a fan of Oatmeal Raisin cookies, try this twist – instead of all raisins, add 1/2 raisins, 1/2 cranberries. I did it on a whim and the flavor popped, the texture was 10/10 and they were gone in a flash. Leave a note at the bottom if you want me to send you the recipe!

Want To Live Longer? This Simple Daily Test Is The Secret
In a study of over 25,000 self-proclaimed non-exercisers, researchers found that short bursts of vigorous movement, like hustling up stairs or speed-walking to catch a delivery guy, cut the risk of dying by up to 40%. The magic number? Just 3 to 4 minutes a day, broken into 1 to 2 minute bouts. Another incredible example of the power of exercise snacks!

This article was so beautifully constructed and made me look at the idea of identity in a whole new light.
Since we’re having Grey do a summer reading challenge, I figured modeling my own couldn’t hurt. So far I’ve read Grace Year (Hunger Games meets Handmaid’s Tale; I loved it), Quicksilver (worth the hype, a different kind of beach read), Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself (fantastic!), The Messy Lives of Book People (not as good as I was hoping for, but light-hearted and an easy read), and I just finished The Prison Healer yesterday (shock ending, unputdownable, and can’t wait for Book 2!).
In case you have a young reader and you want to do a challenge of your own, here’s what Grey read last month: The Sign of the Beaver, The Boy Who Fell Off the Mayflower, Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and Adam of the Road.
If you’re looking for a phenomenal podcast, I loved Q&A with Tim — Three Life Commandments, 4-Hour Workweek Exercises I Still Use, The Art and Joy of Inefficiency, Stoicism Revisited, and Much More (#813), and gleaned a few fantastic nuggets for a project I’m working on. I know you’ll find some great takeaways too!
And if you’re working toward a new goal (or an old one!), this is a short listen, packed with actionable tips to take it to the next level.
