Today’s Scrolls is bursting with practical, impactful tips you can easily implement to bring more abundance, health, gratitude and JOY. The meals suggestion has made a deep difference with our sleep, and we couldn’t stop at one so we threw in a homemade (healthy + scrumptious!) ice cream for fun. Please leave a note at the end and tell us which inch of inspo was written just for you this week. We’re so happy to see you!
Meals
Sweet tooth club – we whipped up this decadent dish over the weekend and it was divine!! You can enjoy it two ways – keep it in the fridge and the texture is like a mousse, or store it in the freezer and it is homemade ICE CREAM! 😍🙌🏽
And if you’re having trouble sleeping, try this night-cap from Dr. Mark Hyman. I love a fun mocktail and even better when it serves your well-being for deeper, restorative sleep! Dark cherry smoothies are my favorite because consuming cherries has been proven to improve sleep, but this mocktail takes it to the next level. We can all cheers to that!
- 1 chamomile tea bag
- 1-inch chunk fresh ginger, microplaned
- 1 cinnamon stick (I used 1 t. ground cinnamon)
- 1 lavender tea bag
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 3 sour cherries, pitted (frozen works too)
- 1 tablespoon sour cherry juice, unsweetened
- 1 handful of ice
Movement
This was a really enlightening chat with two of my favorite health and wellness experts. I am fascinated with all things centenarians (and visiting my sweet grandparents this week made me want to dig even deeper). Here are some terrific tips we can apply to aging well in regards to strength, movement, and different abilities as we age. What do you want to be able to do when you’re 100? Let’s make a list, and start training for it now.
I’m reading Dr. Attia’s new book – I’ll report back with the highlights next week!

We’re off to celebrate my better half, and the very best Dad to Grey and Gemma. A fun fact about Jon – he would carve out a mountain and move it for you if he could. He quite literally sleeps on the couch every night to let Grey sleep in our bed, not even heading to a guest room (he says it’s to stay close enough if we need him). He makes every day more fun and is just the most wonderful human I know. I hope you get to celebrate the dog and human dads in your life. I wish I could hug mine this morning 😢, but I am so looking forward to calling my stepdad and Gramps! XO, Kaylea
