Sunday Scrolls: December 18th

How wonderful to see you here today! Wishing a very Happy Hanukkah, and a joyful Christmas week to friends who celebrate. No matter which holiday you’re enjoying, I hope you’re feeling a sense of peace, purpose, and an abundance of love. Today in Scrolls we have an easy treat you can whip up for last minute parties, powerful mindset shifts, and fun links to peruse over coffee. You’re absolutely spectacular by the way, in case no one told you that yet today!

Meals

We shared our healthy snickers recipe this week and it’s a fast favorite. If you’re looking to bring something different to a cookie exchange, or want a sweet and salty treat that satisfies your craving without the blood sugar spike, you have to give them a try! They’re vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar free, and delicious!

Movement

This week’s movement focus is play: dance parties, sledding with the kids in your life, even building a snowman! The holiday season can be wildly stressful and we can be too hard on ourselves with that negative chatter that loops on repeat – we ate too many desserts, we snuggled on the couch all day binging Christmas movies, we’re too busy to get in a good workout….you know the loop I’m talking about. But wait – did you know that sledding burns between 400-800 calories in an hour?! And even a short burst of dance or play, especially when done with purpose and presence, can really pack a punch both on your move rings, and your mood. Less pressure, more fun. Movement is movement in any form you can squeeze it in!

Mindset

So many nuggets of wisdom this week! The 1st, 5th, and last are big red flashing lights for me. Which one resonates with you the most?
