Sunday Scrolls: April 9th

I’m not sure Grey ever believed in the Easter bunny. And looking at this throwback from a few years ago in Chicago, I see the why of it a little more clearly πŸ˜†. Today’s edition of Scrolls has some scrumptious holiday side dish inspo, new longevity nuggets we can easily add to our routine, tips for more restorative sleep, and a bountiful bevy of our favorite finds of the week! I feel so grateful to spend a sliver of Easter Sunday with you. What a gift!

Meals

How bright and bountiful do these Blistered Green Beans look?! It’s the toasted walnut vinaigrette that really pulled me in. If you’re looking for a last minute side dish for your Easter celebration, I bet you have all of these ingredients on-hand and your guests will be wowed! If this one isn’t for you, I found a bunch of tasty sides, here.

And for my smoothie friends, we’ve been whipping up this anti-inflammatory brain-booster on repeat, along with a much-needed reminder if you have smoothies daily like we do.

Movement

We have been going through a master bathroom refresh, and as a result, had to move the contents of our life to the upstairs guest bedroom for a few weeks. I realized very quickly after countless trips up and down how much of an impact 18 steps can have each way πŸ˜…. Even before I stumbled on this article (7 Things That Happen to Your Body When You Take The Stairs ), I knew it was something I wanted to keep up on long after the renovation is complete. Less stress? Better bones? Longevity?! Yes, please!

Mindset

Normally I can point to one or two that really stopped the Scroll for me, but this week, they are all speaking to me (loudly πŸ˜…πŸ™ŒπŸ½). Are any of these nuggets nudging you today?

Of all the holidays, Easter has always been my favorite. I have the most extraordinary memories with my grandparents that I truly treasure. One of the sad parts of getting older is that traditions ebb and flow, you lose the glue, find new ways to celebrate, and things look a little different. I hope that however your day looks today, you feel loved, well, and joyful πŸ™πŸ».
