A loving reminder to be in the pictures, take in the minuscule moments, and celebrate every day you wake up well:

This past month was more house projects than fun, but we managed to squeeze in some of that, too. (Home)school is out for the summer, and both teacher and pupil are so very ready for a break. I’m thankful to put my Mom hat on again and delight in the picnics and critter saving and skate park tricks that come along with an eight year old. Also a deep gratitude for the smattering of incredible kid camps we have lined up for Grey this summer (read: a break for mom + dad 😆). But in all seriousness, it is not lost on me that we only get 9 more summers with him (if we’re lucky before he ditches us for cooler friends) and I want to soak in his sweet voice (albeit spicy sometimes, too) and little boy antics. We have a few more renovations to finish at the new house and then we are pausing for a bit to enjoy life. I still can’t believe in less than a year this guy you see above has renovated three different homes, and is likely permanently tattooed in paint as a result. We won’t talk about the impact the fumes may have had 😅. I should send him on a wonderful vacation away from all this work, but I’d miss him too much. May in candids:

What was the highlight of your month? What are you most looking forward to in June? Jot us a note in the comments, and thank you for coming to see us today!
