February Joy Jolts (a photo diary)

Since I don’t share on instagram anymore (it’s been 2+ years aways from the app!), I love this spot to reflect on the past month and share some sweetness with you. Do you know what would make it even better? If you added a snap or two to the comments below. Your smiling face (and the pups!) are the joy-lites of our week. For the shortest month of the year, we sure packed a lot in 🙃:

As I was swiping through my favorites folder, I quickly found a theme for February: food. We spent a whole lot of time in the kitchen with our tiny chef. My mom sent him a vegan cookbook for Valentine’s Day and it has been well utilized ever since. We also had the most amazing week-long visit from Jon’s parents and it filled our well and then some. If you’ve ever lived far away from family, you know what a gift it is to be able to do even the simplest things like share a meal at the same table, hug before bed each night, and play a game of uno together.

In other news, Grey (and Coach Jon’s) basketball team made their way to the playoffs, and this Bulls season has come to an end. Other than that we’re forging ahead with homeschool, lots of fun field trips (Legoland!, ceramics!) and an upcoming change of scenery. Something tells me next month’s joy jolt round-up is going to be filled with boxes 👀.

Don’t forget – when you look for the good, you will find it! I hope March moves you closer to your goals, closer to your people, and deeper into your purpose. We are so grateful to have you in this well and joyful community!
