The best part? This 🍫 treat won’t spike your blood sugar thanks to the low glycemic index (and scrumptious combo of fiber + protein)! It’s super easy to throw together, and keeps in the freezer until you’re craving a sweet + salty bark with a bite:
- 🐣 1 Can of chickpeas (rinsed and drained) then roasted for 25 min. in a 400 degree oven. I rolled them in a little EVOO and a sprinkle of cinnamon and salt. Keep them in until they get crispy – it makes for the best crunch!
- 🌰 handful of roasted pistachios. Did you know they’re ultra rich in potassium, B6 and antioxidants?!
- 🍫 bag of @hukitchen vegan dark chocolate bites! They melt so beautifully and I reserved a few to sprinkle on top before the freezer for extra texture.
- ⭐️ Another sprinkle of cinnamon and pop in the freezer for 20 minutes. Once fully cooled, break it into pieces & enjoy!
