Anti-Inflammatory Iron Powerhouse Smoothie

Getting the right amount of iron each day benefits our immunity, improves sleep quality, enhances memory and cuts down on brain fog and fatigue. Not to mention it’s great for skin health and getting rid of those dreaded dark under-eye circles. This smoothie is not only packed with iron, it’s also loaded with immunity and anti-inflammatory boosters (plus protein, fiber, and healthy fat to keep you full and focused!). Let’s make it together – well-blended for well-being:

Before you tell me you see a lot of green, please trust me when I tell you, you won’t taste it. Between the dates (rich in iron), and the avocado (neutralizes the green taste and smoothes out the texture), the strawberries will still come out on top.

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen spinach
  • 1 fresh zucchini
  • 1 avocado
  • 4 pitted dates
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • coconut milk (2-4 cups depending on the consistency you prefer)
  • 2 scoops Truvani vegan protein

It’s layered with goodness and tastes like a treat! If you’re looking for even more iron, and a host of other wonderful benefits, might I suggest sprinkling sprouted pumpkin seeds on top? Happy sipping and cheers to a well + joyful day ahead!
