We filmed this exciting (and oh so windy) Parade of Homes announcement in October. Can you believe it? In case you missed the news, the #NixonPack is thrilled to be the design team behind the JMG Custom Home in the 2018 Parade of Homes in Syracuse, NY. We have been hard at work behind the scenes with the builders to finalize an incredible floor plan, we have also met with Modern Kitchens and have worked up some gorgeous preliminary kitchen designs. We’ve got mood board upon mood board for the design direction we’d like to take the house in…and there’s just one main component missing. The house.

It’s funny. I was talking to Joe Grosso this week, the J in JMG Custom Homes, and boy did my instagrams showcasing that gorgeous white fluffy stuff rub him the wrong way. I was trying to empathize on how long the winter had been and how frustrating it must be not to be able to break ground and he stopped me in my tracks. Was this the same person who called three feet of snow “magical”? True. But much like every other Central New Yorker, I am so ready for the last snowflake to fall. (He’s a teddy bear by the way). The good news is that Mother Nature looks like she may be cooperating and in the next few weeks they are starting up the excavators and getting to work.
